Who we are
Acquired in 2017, Verde opened but was not complete until our manager, Wendy, came aboard. Wendy and Tiffany have been friends for 15 years. From co-workers to business partners they are a great team, they have complimentary strengths and keep each other laughing. Which has translated to creating a space and a salon culture that people are enjoying.
They have both worked their entire careers in Long Beach and have a lot of pride in the city.
They have worked together in assembling a group of talented stylists that fit their vision perfectly.
The neighborhood is important to them and they are proud to be a part of 4th street.

what we offer
We are lucky to have found some very talented and knowledgable stylists to work with us at Verde. We all sell different product lines, for all types of hair and different hair and issues. We each have our favorites and we will take the time to explain and even show you how to use your new product. That is the benefit of getting your haircare from a small business. We have tips and tricks. So make sure to talk to us about what you need, you don't have to guess at a big store and end up with a cupboard of unused products. We can help you.
All Products
we offer a few different straightening services, all are semi-permanent. keratin-based solution processed and dried, the flat ironed into the hair to achieve a smoothing effect. not necessarily stick straight, it depends on what you've got coming into the service. usually it straightens quite a bit. it smooths and de-frizzes.price varies considering time and amount of product needed.
prices start at $250
to strengthen, soften or smooth out rough or damaged hair. whether its from weather-or maybe it's been overly processed, or maybe its just weak and you want it to grow longer. speak to your stylist about your specific issues and a proper conditioning treatment can be formulated for you. this is an add-on service so you'll have to book, at the very least a blowout, to get a treatment. prices start at $30
hair is wrapped in rods, or curlers, or spiral spongy looking sticks, or braided even and we apply solution and process and neutralize. we use curlcult perms at verde and they are extremely versatile. we can even perm just the crown to add a little boost of volume. price varies considering time and amount of product needed.
prices start at $350
a demi-permanent, transparent, haircolor used commonly over lightening services to achieve a desired blonde. but gloss comes in all colors, from clear to black. it can be used to blend grey or darken, or cancel out unwanted warmth. clear gloss is available just to add shine. think of it like lipgloss, the color underneath is just being slightly tinted. can be added to a blonding service or can be a standalone color service.

Scissor cut, clipper cut, razor or thinning shears. texturize, volumize, thin out, or blunt edge. long, short,wavy, curly or straight. from trims or shave it off, we do it all. for all genders or no gender, adult, child or teen, even tween. we cut hair.

traditionally defined, highlights are lightening some of the hair. highlights mean taking pieces of a section, applying (usually bleach) decolorizer, and enclosing it in foil. usually right up to the scalp. price varies considering time and amount of product needed. price varies considering time and amount of product needed.
partial retouch ranges $125-150
full foil highlights range $150-$250
you may need a color retouch, just to cover your new growth or you may want color all over. we can even remove old color and add new color. every color imaginable, we have it. price varies considering time and amount of product needed.
